Chapter 8

Today, we had our track and field heats… 4×100m and 8×50m events…. for 4×100 relay, we came in second in our group… shan’s class came in first… think we lost by just abit… shall work harder for the finals ba ^.^ GO MARIAN!!! GO SHUANG!!! GO LUN!!! GO TING!!! Haha… and i fell down la… on the track can… flat somemore…. luckily is after i passed lun the baton… if not i will be damn guilty… cannot really remember the falling process… what i could recall was me sprinting right beside another girl, very squeezy… then awkwardly passed the baton to lun and ‘piak’… the next moment i’m down there already… comical hor… think i fell on my knees first… =( sudden sharp pain… but.. yeah.. i’m fine=) then came the 8×50 event… 8 runners, according to line-up, include xiaomao, kat, shihui, mavis, shuang, me, marian and lun… and we came in first in our grouping.. yipeee!!!! Go 24/06!!! lets work harder for the finals =)

 

Ahhhh!!!! I can’t seem to hide some stuffs anymore… I’m scared la… really scared…. that the worst nightmare might be here soon… i don’t wanna train in fear all the time… and this is simply not the right time for the nightmare to come…. i can’t contain my fear!!! I wished upon a star…

Chinese New Year Celebration

Morning started off with me, shi hui, lun and ant leaving the class to complete our uncompleted chemistry tutorial…. haha… what a way to start the day… after chemistry lesson we had a mini 24/06 pre new year celebration… had a great time lau-ing yu sheng…. haha… to make it even more interesting, someone suggested each to pick a number and one gets to feed the next person in line… there’s still this special lot where the one who picked this lot gets to be fed by a person in class decided by the class demand… hahaha… so… this impromptu game brought out loads of laughter in the class… then came a short photo-taking session… and something funny and embarrassing happened… shall not elaborate further… but that became the topic of the day or even the week and is going to go on for even a longer period of time i guess…. argh!!! Mahjong session at shihui’s place was next…

Chinese New Year

CNY was just like before…. visiting, makaning, black-jacking, makaning, makaning and MORE makaning…. but the main thing is its a BREAK from everything…. yeah!!!! enjoying a few days of precious family time too… that’s the most important thing for CNY and of course, not forgetting the ang-baos… *winkwink* haha…. 

Blackjacking at my place on Friday

Invited the usual clique to my place last friday… super funny happenings throughout the whole visit… the main topic of that night is the dunno-who-created de scandal…. made me very embarrassed la… but really funny… haha…  from the de ja vu wedding scene, to the fbt tops to liang hao and des trying to cover up for wx’s negative sides, to the southpark coinbank to homeground advantage to ‘type’ and many teenie weenie stuffs… haha… aniwae, lost quite abit during the gambling session… boooo =X

Saturday training cum friendly

We played really badly during the friendly and as expected, she flared up like nobody’s business… the team’s morale is really low… we really have to reflect ba… where did the fighting spirit go? are we really hopeless? like what seems to be hidden in her words… instead of brooding over her harsh words and blaming ourselves… maybe we should think of the reason why she reprimanded us… we played badly… but why is it that we’re not playing to our full potential… that’s the question we have to ask ourselves…

To the team:
We may be a newly formed team… We may not know each other that well… but we’re now a TEAM… each of us have a part to play in this team of ours… we can crap like hell outside court… but we’re simply not a team on court… i feel that we’re kinda scattered during our play… yes, indeed everyone is improving… but we need to do it as a team… we need more motivation on court… more pillars of support… when one is down, it can pull the whole team down… it is the responsibility of all members in the team to pull that single one up… (this sounds familiar yeah khs? haha) the team maybe of disadvantage in height and size but there’s potential in every single one of us… 
kit: you have the stamina, you have the speed… your hands-up defence is the best in the team… you can tip the ball away even if it is in mid air…. 
shirong: you’re hardworking, you’re determined… you kept on trying despite the harsh words used on you… you put the skills learnt into play… you always got the idea there… a little more you have to go, and the interception is yours… we need those interceptions and i believe in you…
shan: you controlled the game well as a center… your long limbs is an asset to the team… (don’t fly, there’s still yujing above you… haha) you set the pace of the game well…. that is especially important for a good play…
lun: you possess the best feeding skills… and you’re fast and swift… good elevation and defence too…
yujing: hardworking and never give up trying…. you’re a sharp shooter… your height is an asset to us…
xueli: confident and always ready to go all out… encouraging and possesses great defending skills…
kaihui: though you’ve to sit out now… you make a good junior and good teammate… don’t give up working hard.. i’m waiting to play on court with you…
nat, tracy and qiao wei: you all are new here… you each have your strengths waiting to be discovered… do stay committed=)
mel: you’re my motivation… all of us are still waiting=)

Everyone in the team has their own strengths… and we have to make all these come together as one… each of your contributions is crucial to the team… let’s all raised our heads higher… don’t feel you’re a burden or a disappointment.. instead, polished up our weaknesses and acknowledge our strengths… we’re in this together… let’s JIAYOU ba^^…

Chapter 6

14th February 2007…. Valentine’s day special entry=) HVD to everyone!!! well, that’s a cool way of saying happy valentine’s day… was introduced to this COOL language by my dear junior xueli aka liang po po…. haha… today had been a really HAPPENING day=) Let me share with you what happened….

I stayed up quite late last night to prepare those M&Ms chocolates for my friends and drew a family potrait for my family in conjunction with the big day today… this explains why i know nuts about what to write for econs keynesian test today… morning was lazy as usual… woke up rather late and i swear i ‘didn’t’ chiong like mad to catch the usuals… so there in the train were the go-to-school-together friends that include lun, shan, kit and ant… got a ai4 xin1 breakfast from lun’s cafe… a packet of goodies from shan and apple crumble from kit… met mel fu the first thing we reached school… got our doggie vdae present and off we went for assembly… then came first tutorial lesson Physics… no one cares about mr oh-so-silly presence and he doesn’t mind too… haha… so there we went all around the classroom giving away and receiving goodies and prezzies… like some xmas exchange party=) so high and fun!!! received a bag full of goodies… thanx everyone^ ^

Lectures that follow after that did felt my presence but not my mind and soul… all the while i was like drifting away in lala-land can… then came the end of lessons for today… left the class immediately after school dismiss and off i went to meet my darling yiwen… haha…. it has been like how many thousand years since we last met up la… but there’s only around 1hr for her to spare for our little date… haha… so we decided to chill out at ljs cine… chatted and makan and *da-dang* times up… she had to get back to work le…. so much stuff to catch up on… shall go out on another date soon yeh… haha… and her gift for me… lolzx.. the little surprise in that bottle full of orange chocos… so sweet^^

Back to school…. training… how sad huh…. shall not comment on training further… haha…

9pm…. training ended… and S11 bbq food was next for mi, lun, 15th may babies, weixian and shihui… the stingray is SUPER mama-licious!!! and thanx to shihui and ant leow for presenting me a really NICE gift… A BIG ROUND WATERMELON!!!! hahaha…. super funny… the even funnier thing is weixian receiving a LONG PURPLE BRINJAL…. wahhahahaaha…. we chatted awhile and it was getting late… so home sweet home….

and today marks the last training before we go for a one week chinese new year break… wOoOOoOo!!! kinda excited and happy… haha…

Chapter 5

Boooo!!! i just realised the photos posted cannot be viewed…. i guess entries from now shall be one without visual aids… till i manage to figure out the right way to post pictures, you’ll have to make do with these wordy entries…

Aniwae, my computer in the living room is officially DOWN… and credits for that goes to me of course… i was trying to on the computer which doesn’t seems to work that night… and being the determined me to get it fixed, i plucked out the wire connecting the monitor to the cpu… when i fixed it back again, it ‘EXPLODED’!!!!! All i could see in that split second was a blue ray that dimishes seconds after.. and the worst thing is… my whole house BLACK-OUT! i almost died of electrocution (ps: is tt how you spell it?)… if not, i’ll die of shock la!! and there goes the computer… RIP…. right now, i’m using one in my brother’s room… and its damn slow la….but at least it’s better than being computer-less….

Yesterday, we had a friendly against NanHua… 
Training = no friendly, BUT
Friendly = Friendly + Training… that’s the ’mathematical’ equation for ajc netball… the team is expanding in terms of the number of players… and yep… we’re improving too… we know where we’re heading but… there’s much more to do to get there… back to the friendly… playing under the merciless, scorching sun can be DEADLY… and i applied like three layers of sunblock… but i see no difference made to my tanned… except it prevented me from getting burnt! there’s lots of room for improvements… jia you ba!!!

Chapter 4

Woooo!!! last friday, the last crosscountry of my lifetime was officially OVER!!! though i did not carry out the run as planned… i felt satisfied after it… initial thought was to SLACK!!! count birds, look for ants, enjoy the afternoon breeze, and run the competitive race uncompetitively…. haha… but when the ‘gun’ sounded, i just RAN… lolxzzx… part of the reason i kept running was coz of woo… thanx for all those words of encouragement admist your pant… and the funny part of it all is when i was right behind kit… i wanted to force out a word of jiayou when i was behind her but i decided not to… coz if i said tt, she’ll know i’m right behind, then she’ll sprint off and i can never WIN her… wahahahah… being the evil me, i sprint right beside her, pat her back and “phew”, i sprinted off again… hahah… when i told everyone this, we all laughed like mad… and kit told her story too… upon reaching the finishing line, she heard woo’s friend shouting: “Go shirong!!!” and being the evil her, she sprint real hard not wanting to lose to woo… hahahha… tt’s the netballers and their evil sides… lolzxx…. aniwae, grats to lun for coming in first and shan for coming in fifth in my heart =)

Just a little family joke to share here… when i got home one day… i decided to air my stinky shoes and guards at the balcony… so there i went and i saw a note hanging there on the curtain… a few strands of thread sticking out from the sides of the newly washed curtain… the note says this:

“Hello birddy, please do not “tiong” my curtain. thank you” hahahahaha…. it’s written by my mum aniwae… she’s just creating a little joke there, not that she believes birds can read huh… if its really the latter, guess i’ll hafta bring my mum to IMH somedae =X…. wahahha…

Off to crack my brains at probability now… buaizxzxz…
