Chapter 46

The past few days were mainly FAMILY DAYS…

First, it was presents shopping at marina square with mum and liwei…
I dragged them along duh…
Then we met up wif gor and da-sao…
Supper was next at changing appetite…
And there’s this super funny waiter… Haha…
He had this earpiece kinda thing in his ear and someone shouted for him thru that…
while taking our orders…
then he jumped and show that *ewwwww* face…
and sent me laughing super loud….

I spent my christmas countdown with my little bro….
Watching TOM N JERRY and laughing at how silly the cat tries to catch the mouse…
the mouse ran and chopped off the cat’s tail…
the cat jumped and let out a *AWWWWWW….* sound….

Oh ya… have u seen the bollywood ribena advertisement…
where the lemon meets the ribena then dance dance dance…
hahaha!!! so funnny can…

Aniwae… last nite me and my two brothers brought back some childhood memory by playing monopoly in the wee hours of the nite…
There’s a slight change in management positions due to the single-arm warrior…
So the banker was supposed to be kor and i’m the one to issue out the mortgage cards… Structural changes was made and i’ve been promoted to banker and wei becomes the issue cards one… haha…
before the game the two of them kept suaning me… say cannot play half way then dun play one arh…
I’m well known to ACCIDENTALLY destroy all the houses when i’m at the losing end…
haha… You know like…. step on the board and “Ohhhhh……”
wash all the houses and hotels like some mahjong tiles… lolzxz…
I was made to promise that wun happen today!! haha… so dumb!!!
I kept my promise lor…
First it was some “income tax pay $200″, then came “GO TO JAIL IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200″, it didn’t stop at that….
Chance card… and guess wat…
“Pay each player $50″… gawd…. suay daoOoOo… haha…
And the two of dem LAUGH like mad la…
throw dice oso can throw 3 times double… then go to jail la duh….
Wei’s oways the one that goes..
“Eh… my property… $28″, “eh… u haven give me money”… haha..
typical boy… haha… so funny…
It was a great nite spent til kor went to destroy the gameboard… haha…

Haha… I’m back with all the interesting updates…

NETBALL CHALET

FUN!!! just that we started playing mj quite late…
We COULD have played more rounds… nvm…
Thanx juniors for your farewell gift… =)
The chalet was big but ulu!!!
The scream-the-name-game was SUPER fun!! haha…

Small spark may lead to a BIG fire
Wee and Low happily played LYL Messenger on the programme for keying in invoices…
Stuff like, “PIG!!”, “HOHOHO MERRY XMAS” came out in the documents page…
For one moment, Wee happily sent out “I WANT TO SLEEP!!!!” to Low’s site…
Time lag causes Low to POST the particular invoice without knowing the deadly statement is present in the invoice…
and worst still
POSTED documents cannot be edited!!!
Duo started to panic but remain calm and cool on the surface…
Inside I was like, “shit!!shit!! how!! ahhhhh!!!”
See la… play la play la… haha…
Desperate enough to even click on the Help thingy at that page…
haha… luckily the printed document doesn’t have that statement…
Hopefully the spark reamains in HISTORY and not get discovered… haha!!!

Low embarrassed moment right in front of the BOSS
haha… I promised to post bout this….
Low heaved a HUGE sign of relief after keying in the stuff…
and was on the process of turning around to look at me *wink*
haha… but…
she din realise the BOSS was right behind her!!
haha!! So she literally “HAI……” very loudly in the boss’s face…
the boss got a shock i think…
hahahahaa!!! the moment was really hilarious…

Wee: *giggles*

Thirty five hours with only 30 mins of sleep… Gawd!!! I’m gna hit my head in the pillow real soon… Stay tune for more updates on:

Chapter 43

I woke up damn late yesterday for work…
But manage to report on time… Phew…
So what i’ve predicted on the first day of work was right…
Super early on first day…then woke up late the next… and later… and even later…
Aniwae… started work at 9pm…
after a good 5 to 10 mins… the computer program went down…
So I had a good 1-2 hours SLACKING… playing Hearts and spider solitaire…
haha… but work continued soon after…

Kor was admitted to hospital because of a dislocated elbow..
they were doing some training where he had to carry a guy..
so the guy jumped and two of them lost balance and fell…
and there he had a 180 degree twisted elbow for xmas…
he’s on a cast now… one-arm warrior!!!
but that doesn’t stop him from mahjong-ing today at granny house…
with me, mum, and aunt…. haha…

Aniwae, there’s new furnishing in the house and like a hokkien saying that goes…
“new toilet bowl, good for shitting”
I lay on the new sofa and watched tv for 4 hours… haha…
new fridge too… bigger… means more food… means FATS!!!!
haha…

BBQ tmr… weEeEt!!! and STAR AWARDS!!! wahahaha…

Chapter 42

3rd day at work…
supposedly last day as well..
its either me and lun are too slow to complete all the warehouse sales invoices
or there’s just too much for the duo to finish…
I’ll take it as the latter… haha
its only 3 days and i’ve been looking forward to lunch break and ‘fang gong’
haha… so useless…
me and lun manage to excuse ourselves for 2 hour break today.. haha…
coz the whole company went off for some xmas company lunch
and we’re left on our own… *secret mission*

so… 1 whole hour was spent at some MANGO sales in town…
acting like some sales freak… lolzxz…
silun damn pro can… she just grab and throw and heck…
haha…. manage to get a white pair of jeans at 66 bucks….
just a phonecall back home and there the jeans is packed and officially mine…

aniwae the secret behind the boss’s hairdo is revealed… hahaa..
and someone said i look like one of the ex-staff called Kelly…
haha… so funny… Pan Jia Li…
oh ya… LYL Messenger was discovered…
and i’m LOW’s bei4 hou4 de woman… and she’s mine… Lolzxx

Yesterday, finally after two years, i’ve met up with dearest jinyu…
5pm i left the office and 5 plus I received a msg and 5.30 we met up..
haha… our non-stop conversation lasted from the moment we met to the moment I alight from the train at Khatib…
from orchard mrt to taka to cine to fareast to home
ard 4 plus hours… haha…
we settled down at some HK cafe at cine and continue our chat…
work to jc life to friends to sec sch days to family…
really happy to see her again after so long… haha

oh ya… i applied for some events sales executive job at dreamworks…
the person called and i was asked to go for an interview on mon…
after much clarification with the staff…
i hereby declare the dumb dumb online advertisement cheated me of my hweelings…
it stated ”SPORTS-MINDED INDIVIDUAL”
and i was told theres NOTHING to do with sports
maybe there’s another meaning for that word.. lolxzx
and its some banking and events promoting job…
hmmm… liddat still not bad…
but luckily i asked more…
its commision based and very performance-driven
roadshow and stuff liddat….
then i decided to withdraw from the interview…
not the kind of job i wan… haha…
but nvm… i just sent my resume to another thru recruitexpress…
hopefully smth appealing is cumin up=)

Chapter 41

First day of work at FOSSIL
First me and lun met Mr Scientist at the doorway of the office
Very friendly uncle…
We thought he was the cleaner or something
until he came out again dressing as a technician…
those white robe kinda thing… so we called him Mr Scientist

Then we met Jyn and Cindy our ‘boss’…
The real boss has a oh-so-not(nod head)-like-rooster hairdo…
haha!!! the gossip two started discussing about how she sleeps and maybe she has a personal hair-stylist or she’ll come tmr with flies on her head and stuff…
I bet I’m gna get FIRED if she comes across my blog.. haha!!
The job started off with some sorting out of receipts…
and mind you its a whole carton of them…
Then the tough part came..
DATE-ENTRY!!
blurry Duo had a hard time memorising the steps and understanding how the whole thing works…
But after one invoice, ten invoices, fifty invoices and more…
We got the hang of it finally…

Lunchbreak was around 1pm… went for lunch with silun..
headed to taka for chap-chap food…
met a friendly indonesian ah ma who engaged in a conversation with dearest low…haha
back to office at ard 2pm… and we did the same stuff agn…
There are nice people in the office like Jyn and Aunty Mag who’s really funny!!!

Data-entry jobs are not bad for short period but i think it can get quite boring for long…
Gna apply for other jobs as well and
Resume writing is totally… argh…

I shall go think what to eat for lunch tmr… haha…

Chapter 40

Happy belated bdae CHUA!!!
Happy bdae KOH!!!

We had a mini celebration at Kit’s place todae
Her mum treated us for tomyam dinner… yummy!!!
Mahjong was next… opps… did i say MJ agn… haha
but it lasted for only a few hours unlike you know… heh heh.. last time…
Woo is still as chatty as ever… and it had been a long time since i last ‘bullied’ her..
Mel the busy woman finally met up with us…
Chua kit went green with envy with my rebonded hair!! hahaha!!!
Koh and lun… the same two girls… haha
a mini gathering finally for 06/07 ajc netballers…
we shall go out more often yep…
den i can continue bullying woo the ‘optician’ again.. wahahaha….

Gna start the THREE day work tmr!!! WOW!!! that’s so long huh…
so i better get to bed now.. nitexzx everyone=)

Chapter 39

The previous week had been spent rather fruitfully
With the completion of Level one umpiring…
Taken the test…
And passed it… Wahahaha… I’m a cadet umpire!!!
It can get quite scary during the test…
When you could feel two pairs of eyes and their attention all on you for that 10 mins or so…
Of course.. mistakes were inevitable…
Team A started with the center pass and put in that shot…
Next center pass goes to team B… And the kuku me award the center pass to team A instead…
I was like *opps!!* But since i’m wrong already i confidently carried on with the mistake and haha…
confidently APPEARING right!!!
haha…. then i think i blew a wrong center pass oso.. haha
Watever… the rest of the llabtenians passed it too=)
Poor lun… coz of some non-flexible woman… non-flexi in the mind and literally her entire body…
denied lun of the chance to take the test… argh…

Aniwae… up next will be driving course… i’ve registered and applied for the earliest BTT which is in march…
MARCH!!! that’s like 3 months from now…
haha… thanx mr policeman for the books… saved some $$ from that…

So… I’ve finished reading For one more day by mitch albom
and i’m halfway thru the five people you meet in heaven…
nice books introduced by shan=)
oh ya… how can i forget Corner with Love starring LuoZhiXiang and Da S….
I think the show’s nice leh… some parts quite sad… *sobsob*
But overall nice show=)

I was supposed to go for dinner todae with ZT…
he’s reporting for NS on tuesday…
more and more friends of mine going in le la… haha…
most have a concern of being seen BOTAK next time we meet… lolzxz… gim hock was one of them…
But all thanx to my clumsiness on sat… resulting in a swelling blue black…
rested at home and forgo the treat… Booo!! Sry yep… haha…
2 weeks and we’ll see if you really have those muscles you claimed!! haha…

You give up only when you end up in the hospital….” we always laugh it away when he said that… But that’s the kind of mentality he instilled in us since we’re young… Even if we maybe the smallest, the tiny-est, in the eyes of others… We have to SHINE the brightest… That’s being the best of what we are…
