Chapter 128

A week after Cerrin’s Bdae Bash…
I was back at Coasta Sands for my dear brother’s 21st!

It was a rather last min decision to hold a party for him…
And so we couldn’t get a bigger place…
If we could, maybe the whole celebration would turn out better…

But still… It was a nice celebration…
The turn-up rate was awesome!
So much so that we had problems entertaining everyone and satisfying everyone in the comfort aspect.. Lolzxz…

The family’s really proud of him that night…
Like how we could see him really standing out that night…

Close to 60 people turned up for the celebration…
Half from the relatives… And another half, his friends…
And we only invited families from my mum’s side…
So we’re wondering if we really did invite relatives from dad side…
Wow… Then everyone would be limited to only 5cm by 5cm of space in the chalet.. ahah…

Decos and ambience of the party was left to me to take charge… haha!

 I rushed out a banner for him within one night… *proud* hahahah!

It was down to meeting deadlines…
OB group project…

I really enjoyed working with my group…
Meetings are always productive and everyone played their part in the whole thing…
A wise choice indeed for choosing potential group mates from the start…
It is High Distinction we’re talking about here…

Okay I shall say minimum a Distinction for this project…
If not I’ll be quite sad if we don’t achieve it…

From 9.30am on Wed morning till 10.30pm on Friday night…
I only had an hour of sleep!!!!
That’s 61 hours straight with only 1 hour of nap…
Wow… broke my own record….

The whole time I was working on our OB project…
Tired… But definitely no regrets… Cause I had coolio grp mates with me=)

3.38pm on Friday…
We dropped our 80 pages of effort into the legendary box of destiny….
Good Job people!!! haha! We’re done with group assignment!! Weeeee!!!

That night I finally had time to visit Granny…
She’s sick… But thankfully, recovering…
Met up with Ithiel to visit her… Mum and aunties were there too…

I dozed off on the sofa at Granny’s place that night… And..
Hahahha… I just spent the night there… Lolzxz…
Totally K.O-ed.

I need to get back onto track to keep fit man…
Build up my immune and ability-to-tahan system…
There’s like more to come… hahaha!!

Oh! And Thursday we celebrated Wendy’s birthday… Just a small celebration for her… Everyone had to head home after that to finish up on group project… lolxzxx…

Chapter 127

Finally~!!!!

It had been so long since I had some time for myself…
I just realised other than the random facebook-ing time for the past few weeks to keep me entertained once in a while…
I haven’t been nua-ing!! lolzxz…

It’s like… How can!!

Schoolwork was the main thing…
I don’t call it a total dread though…
Or maybe the case was that I hafta psycho myself to enjoy the whole process so that I have the motivation to go further… Haha…
But it was totally taking up too much time… More than what I expected…

That’s school I guess… It has always been like that… Haha..

Hopefully, results will make everything worthwhile =)

But thankfully, weekends had been happening still…
Taking my attention away from the workload for the time being and immersing myself in a temporary state of enjoyment…

Warning: Its gonna be a long post… Too much updates…

So first up!
It was Cerrin’s 24th Birthday Surprise!
Planning started off like a month ago…
And the whole thing turned out really successful…
Glad the birthday girl totally enjoyed the whole thing =D 

It started off with an initial ‘plan’ that celebration will take place in JB…
And she had no idea it was all planned…
A chalet for her…

The actual morning, she was blindfolded and fetched to the chalet… Haha!
We got everything up the night before…
The decos, the banner, the balloons etc…

 
All smiles…

That’s the birthday girl…

And so we slacked around for awhile before heading to Giant to get BBQ stuff for the supposedly ‘6 of us’…
In fact there was more surprises to come…

After preparing the food it was cam-whoring time again…

Evening time… More surprises lined up for her started kicking in…

Her sec school mates started arriving…
Ex-PVI people, current PVI people… Haha…
She was stunned everytime she got a little pat on her back…

Then comes the cake-cutting part…
Nice backdrop, with nice cake, nice people… HAHA!
Everything went according to plan…

It doesn’t matter where we’ll be in the coming years…
Esp after you shifting your operations over to Malaysia in the coming April…
You’ll definitely be missed!!!

And thanx for always being there… Going with my decisions and being supportive of my choice when it seems like everyone else was against it… Always motivating me and never for once drew a line coz I wasn’t from Wildfire… Hahaha!! Really appreciate that=)

Hey world!

Awaiting updates on my exciting life???
Haha… Nah no more falling into drain…
No more not-enuf-money-to-go-home incidents… HAHAH…

Alright… I’ve been real busy lately…
Individual assignments, group assignments, coming up end of sem EXAMS!!!
Work is piling…
And so is the little pressure from my own expectation…
Afterall, it’s the first semester… Really wanna see myself kicking off a good start for uni…

Despite the busy study schedule, weekends had been rather happening thus far…

8th March CONTIKI BEACH NETBALL

It was seriously ULTIMATE FUN!!
Even though we went back empty-handed, I really enjoyed the day alot…
The company was simply GREAT!

Chapter 125

WEeEeEEeT!!!! TOTALLY EXCITING BURN FATS DAY!

Burn-It Part I
Time: 12.30am (YES! MIDNITE!)
Burn-It plan: Run!
Duration: Half hour
Burn-It Khaki: Mr super steady running escort! hahaha… Jason Loh!

I was online when the sudden feel strikes me… haha!
You know how difficult it is for the get-your-butt-off-the-chair-and-go-for-a-run kind of feel to come…
And so when I had that urge to do it…
It’s time man… haha…
And thankfully I got a super steady running khaki to accompany me…

It was a slow and dark run accompanied by the cool late night breeze…
Ultra shiokness after the run… Satisfaction!

Burn-It Part II
Time: Late noon to evening
Burn It Plan: CYCLING!!!
Journey: Khatib to Bishan(Jln Pemimpin) and back home
Khaki: Me, myself, and my bro’s bike

The run kinda made me sleep very well… haha…
And so my morning schedule was called off…
I have to drop by Coach Zhen’s office to get the designs printed on the tops for sunday’s beach event…

To make the trip worthwhile, I decided to CYCLE there! hahahahha…
First time on a cycling trip not for leisure but as a mode of transport to my destination…
Totally exciting…

I had doubts whether my brother will entrust his precious bike in my hands…
He gave me a straight NO!
I left his room sadly and my excitement totally fell to the minimal level…
Then there’s this familiar voice from behind,

“You got to adjust the height of the seat.”

My face lit up that instant and I enthusiastically offered to get the toolbox for him to do the adjustments, remove some lighting stuff so the seat can go lower… (Its way too high btw, my feet couldn’t even reach the ground)

And so… My exciting CYCLING ‘EXPEDITION’ begins…

My brother bet I couldn’t even get the bike into the lift…
I went like, “I CAN DO IT LOR!” (obviously, not confident at all)

Happily, I left the house, to the lift…
And i manage to fit the back of the bike in but not the handlebar…
THEN! the door went closing you know!
I started to panick and gave that handlebar a twist!
The next thing I know I was beaming proudly away…
I got that bike in! Wahahahahhahaha!

And off I went…
Along the main roads to underneath the flyover, to yiochukang mrt, past AJC, up the ULTRA tiring and LOnnnnnnnnnG slope near AMK library past to Bishan and yeah! I reached! after around 35 to 40mins…

The whole trip was okay… NO BUANGs at all KAY!!
muahahahhaha… EXCEPT!
all the squeezy busstops… OH!
There’s one bus stop along the main roads to the expressway…
My bike had to squeeze between the road sign and the advertisement board to get out of the bus stop…
And immediately after squeezing out there’s a small path only, and directly beside it is a drain… Wow… Skills required!

And obviously I have got NO skill… Hahaha…
Almost fell into the drain lar… Luckily I managed to brake in time…
My wheel was like a mere 10cm from the drain…
Hahahhaha… If not another falling into the drain record in my Book of Wylie’s World Record…

Okay that’s the only incident that happened along the way…
Other than that, it was a safe and enjoyable journey…
Sweat it out man!

The exciting part begins on the returning trip…
After I’m done with handing Coach all the materials for printing,
I embarked on my return journey back home…

The moment I left the building, it started drizzling….
I cycled for a while and the rain got bigger…
So I decided to wait for the rain to stop at the busstop…

And I received a message from my brother…
Here’s what he said,

“Where you?? Raining soon… Die… Don’t cycle in the rain…”
Wah after I read this part arh…
You don’t know how touched I was lar… Fancy him showing me some concern asking me not to cycle in the rain… haha

Then I read on…

“Don’t cycle in the rain…. MY BIKE!…. lolzxzx”

Wth lar!!! So much so for feeling gan dong…
Haha… nvm… That ain’t going to spoil my exciting experience…

The rain stopped. I was glad I can go home now.
And so I cycled happily back on the route I came from…
The slopes now feels shiok cause it’s DOWNSLOPE! wahahhah…
Got myself a drink…. And continue cycling…

Upon reaching AJC, I saw a BIG OMINOUS DARK CLOUD in front…
Gawd… It’s going to pour again!
And I still have a long way to go without shelter!
I made it a point to cycle faster…
Gear 4!!! ZoOoOOoOm!!!

Half way through that route…
There was LIGHTNING!!! Oh no!!!
I cycled faster… Leaning as low as possible…
(Really scared the I might get strike… HAHAHHA…)

Then! Thunder came clapping in…
Oh man… How… still got quite long to go…
But I decided to go on…

And now… GEAR FIVE it went!!

More lightning and thunder…
My chin got really close to the handlebar…
My legs were moving as though I’ve lost control of it…
On my right was the MRT track…
On my left the main roads with moving vehicles zooming past…
In front and behind me there’s like NO ONE else…
Except for 3 bangalahs ‘eating snake’ at the bus stop…

I kept on cycling… And thunder and lightning marched in again…
Shit!!! FASTER…
I literally shouted out loud to myself… (Really shouted since no one was there to hear me… haha.. maybe the ah neys but they wouldn’t understand so i don’t care!)

“FASTER FASTER FASTER!!!! CYCLE FASTER!!”

Then another loud thunder…

“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! KUAI DIAN!!!!!”
(At that moment I totally forgot those people in the cars on the roads are HUMANS!)

Now I tried picturing the scene where I saw someone cycling really fast and shouting away even though I couldn’t hear from inside the car… and leaning super low to avoid getting struck by lightning… Okay… Embarrassing…

haha… I don’t care!

Finally I reached the khatib cross junction and it really poured now…
And so I zoom my way past the stadium and dangerously cut across the roads and finally…
I’m home! Safe and sound and drenched and still EXCITED….

hahahahhaha….

I was telling Shan about the journey…
She was so excited to hear about the trip lar…
She went like, then how then how? Gear 10???

HAHAHAHHA… Gear 5 is max lar… how funny… Lolzxzx

Yeah! That sums up my Biking ‘Expedition’!

I called my brother and told him,
“I’m safely home and your bike is still intact…”
