Chapter 133

Two words.

Unproductive Mugging.

And this sucks. Like you jolly well know time is not enough already.
Yet nothing seems to be going in.
And this is really irritating.

The irony is you can’t wait for exams to be over yet you wouldn’t want it to come so fast. Agree?

Okay maybe I need to turn to Russell Peters for some entertainment for now..
Ahaha… The two brothers are having a good laugh in the next room…
Shall go join them… Haha…

Hi people!

I just hit the BIG 2 of my life YESTERDAY… Haha…
TWENTY!!! 20!! 20!! 20!!

Gotta really thank all of my friends for all the well wishes, the presents, the birthday hugs, (sadly no kisses… AHAHAHA!) and the company.
Simply… THANX all for remembering =)

I had a WONDERFUL 20th!
Special thanx to the SIXIES for making it a really memorable one…
A surprise celebration on the Flyer! Totally COOL!!!
At least the transition from the one-range to the two-range wasn’t just about MUGGING!! hahahaha…

And Thanx to my uni peeps for spending my birthday with me… Haha! Even though we’re like MUGGING at Woodlands on the 13th!! I still enjoyed the dinner and company and alittle bit of the mugging session… HAHAHA! =]

The ARIES celebration with the Uni clique…

Started off with a study session at Woodlands Civics Centre.
Followed by a random ‘Ramley Burger’ plus ‘mua-chee’ session under our usual lamp-post… Haha! Then back to mugging…
Okay more of me chatting around… Lolzxzx..

After which we bus-ed down to Chong Pang to eat zi-char!
WoOoOo… Cereal Prawns!!!
And after dinner, we walked down to along Sembawang Road for the Tau-huay…

There we had a mini celebration for me and Danial…

OMG! I’m so easily distracted…
This is really BAD!!
Supposed to be doing some solid mugging… But… AHA!

Anyway….

9th April – HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTHONY!!!

10th April – HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE!!!

10th April – HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIAL!!

So… at 11.50pm on the 8th…
I was there under Lun’s block awaiting the clock to strike 12…

Haha… Plans were not made and initial intention was to just pop by alone to give her a little surprise…
Since I guess she’ll be oh so lonely counting down ALONE!!
HAHAHAHHA… see i’m so nice right!

Okay but I was WRONG!
Popular Lun had not one, but TWO groups of people surprising her…
Aiseh! Lolzxzx..
Everything was so randomly decided and poof I had 2 juniors with me…

Alright…
And so we got her a little birthday cake….
Gave her a little shock…
and sang her a little birthday song… haha…

Hope you enjoyed the little surprise…
At least we din made u dressed up like some kuku ninja turtle last year, or make u take photos with 3 random strangers who had to wish you Happy Birthday… Lolxzzx…

Today… 11th April…
We had our usual must-meet-up to celebrate all the APRIL babies birthday…
But all thanx to irritating exams…
We’ve to keep it to a mini celebration…
The big one we’ll await Ant to return from Taiwan and the girls to finish our exams…
Decided on our usual JC clique activity…
Beach Volleyball at SENTOSA! Yay!!! *Looking forward*

It was a simple lunch at Suki Sushi, AMK…
So we were supposed to have GimHock (30 March), Ant (9 Apr), Lun (10 Apr), WX (19 Apr) and ME! Wahaha..
Together with us, there’s shuang, shihui, des, liang and khenglim.

70% turned up…
As for 100%, we’ll have to wait till the Sentosa one…
Can’t wait for exams to be over soon…

haha… a few days back i was still cracking my brain to think of enhancements for my database… and yeah… over and done with it…

Chapter 130

Haha!! It’s a HAPPY day today!

Woke up really early today feeling good…. Haha…
Mum was doing some chores and we actually sat down to chat for quite awhile before preparing for school…
Haven’t had the chance to see her and talk to her very often lately cause Granny wasn’t well…

*Prays* Get well soon PoPo…. You’re my only PoPo left…

Maybe it was cause of how hectic school life is getting now, it seems like I’ll really treasure the little times spent with my loved ones…
And I find pleasure in engaging in small conversations with them despite how short it may be… =)

Alright! So today we had our last lectures for Sem 1.

The OB lecturer went through the feedbacks for the group assignment…
The one that made me stayed awake for 61 hours…
The last part of it, he was getting some groups to stand up…

We knew these groups are those that did very well for the assignment…
It was a complicated kind of feeling….
I was super eager to know whats on the next slide, hoping to see our names appear on the screen, but another part of me was like, “cannot be lar… so many groups”…
You know the kind of trying-to-ease-your-emotions to prevent utter disappointment kind of feeling…
And yet trying to keep cool on the surface but fact is my heart was thumping at like 45682 beats per second kind of thing… haha!

I definitely expect quite alot from this group assignment cause of the amount of hardwork the whole group put in…
And, it’s the first group that I actually took the lead in uni…
Would definitely want a really good kickoff…

And the first group stood up… Then the second…
With expectations come disappointments…
And so after the first 2 groups, I have to admit I was a little disappointed..

I was telling Bren… Hey hurry make your name appear again…
Coz apparently he was one of the few top ones for indiv assisgnment previously…
And he was like, “Cannot appear twice one lar… cannot be”

Haha… Maybe he was just like me…
Trying to suppress our expectations to prevent disappointments… Lolzxzx..

And the next thing I know, Kaili let out a little scream…
And everyone beside me got excited… haha…
I was abit STUNNED! Staring at the screen…
Couldn’t really react for that instant… Hahaha!

Our names were like THERE! on the slide!!
We’re the TOP 3 out of the 40 plus groups in the whole cohort as deemed by the lecturer!! Haha!
ULTIMATE YAYNESS!!!

Really very happy plus relieved plus excited… Haha!
Good Job groupmates!!! We did it!!! Wahahahah…

It just felt that everything paid off…
All the effort and sweat and late nights and patience and determination and endurance… Everything is worth it…. =D

With me, I have Ada, the silent worker who may not voice out alot but is definitely reliable for she’ll make it a point to complete all the tasks and work allocated to her. Ultra good at finding e-journals too! haha… KaiLi, the one who never fails to bring in laughter and smiles to the group during meetings. Very responsible and organized groupmate. She’ll bring across her idea only when she feels there’s a need to. And we need this kinda ppl in the group. Discussions are so much more effective with her around. Brendam, the one who writes really good reports. His critical thinking definitely helps the group alot. Like how he’ll draw chunks of information down to the main points. His contribution to the group def plays a big part in our assignment. Really serious when comes to work. SUPER perfectionist. Seriously worst than me lar. hahahah….  But it’s a good thing, he point out every single area to improve and tried very hard to perfect our group project… =) Though sometimes, a little over… hahaha… But we’re all accomodating people! haha.. And not forgetting YuanBing. Our QC – quality check scanner. She really scan through all out indiv parts, group parts and everything else…. Lolzxz… Her good grasp in language is definitely a big asset to our group. Very hardworking and responsible groupmate. We share the same kind of working style and I like working with her. V motivating partner too… haha..

It was really nice working with them. We all share something in common. We want results. I can feel that they’re also there to score and excel. And that’s why we’re in the same group. A common purpose.

And we’ve done it!!!
TOP 3! freaking awesome can!

Haha! We can carry out our High-Distinction-for-grp-assignment feast soon, once the main results are out… haha!

Chapter 129

PRE-EXAM Enjoyment!!!

Haha… We were contemplating on JB or Dimsum day…
And apparently the girls voted for the latter…
As for the former, guess we’ll have to wait till about a month later…

And so… We met for Dimsum at DragonGates at harbourfront centre…
There’s just me, Lisa, Bing, Wendy and Bren…
Ali and the other 2 guys went for lunch elsewhere… haha…

The soup is nice! The prawn dimsums are nice…
But overall not a really fantastic buffet I would say…
There’s like better xiaolongbao and har-gow somewhere else..

While waiting for the rest to come, Wendy and I were walking around and just happen to see these… And so we decided to get it for the rest.. haha!

After 3 rounds of dimsum-ing, we headed to vivo to meet ali, dan and yida…
Movie was next…
Wah movie!!! Its like 3 months since I last watched a movie…
No time + No money = No movie!

anw, We watched the show ‘The Shinjuku Incident’.

Starring Jackie Chan and Daniel Wu…
The show is so-so only lar… About betrayal and nationalities…
Hands were like flying everywhere… haha!
All sort of languages and dialects were spoken…
Some Jap guy speaking Chinese, Jackie Chan speaking Jap, Daniel Wu speaking chinese in a funny accent plus some jap, HK stars speaking canto..
This guy kill that guy, that guy betray this guy, another guy gang up with that guy, then they kill the other guy…

And everyone died except the cop… WTH! hahahha…

And the ending was… dotzxzxzxzxzxzxz totally… hahahah….

Ali just burst out laughing at some random scenes… haha… and we just laughed along… Haaha…

After the movie, we just chilled outside vivo…. Cause we’re all too full for dinner… And so… We took more photos… Aha!

Dinner was at harbourfront hawker… Orh-lua!!! yummy!!!

Its been real long since I last went out like this lar…
After today… It’s STUDY TIME!!!
as in literally MUGGING TIME!!!!

I desperately need a GOOD sleep…
